Codependence
Codependence is a common issue that affects many individuals who have experienced developmental trauma or abuse. It is characterized by a pattern of behavior where individuals prioritize the needs of others over their own, often to their own detriment.
Codependence can lead to a lack of boundaries, difficulty making decisions, feelings of resentment and anger, and an inability to practice healthy self-esteem.
Codependence, at its core, manifests as emotional immaturity, but through therapy, its origins can be understood and the healing process can begin. My approach employs treatment modalities that specifically target the root causes of codependence and
address the resulting issues that persist into adulthood, such as the struggle to establish and maintain healthy boundaries or engage in interdependent relationships.
